The Shift from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age

Everything is energy right? We are influenced by natural law, scientific principles, teachings and learning about the nature of our world, past, present and future, and then there are the cyclical energies that we are impacted upon through the movement of the planets and the influence that this has on us and our everyday living. 

And no, I am not an astrologer though I have an intense interest in how it impacts my life and the lives of others. And boy, have I learned heaps about my own journey as a Soul having a physical experience and the life lessons they have had, impacting my choices, my relationships, my life path and career. 

There has been a huge amount of activity with the planets and their movements over the last few years. In addition we have heard heaps about the ending of the Piscean Age and the dawning and the coming of the Aquarian Age from different astrologers. The Hippie era of the 60’s and the 5th Dimension’s 1969 song ‘The Age of Aquarius’ comes to mind and I kid you not, about the name of the band - who said there are any coincidence!!!! So what is this all about and what is its relevance for those who are alive on the planet at this time - the mix of energies from the Boomers, the Gen X’ers, Gen Y’ers, Millennials and those who follow? 

The last dramatic shift we as a consciousness had on the planet was with the birth, life and teachings of Christ Jesus bringing about what was to be known as the Piscean Age. And since, we lived under the energies of the Piscean Age. This era was defined by hierarchy, control, and a deep reliance on external authority. 

Schooling systems and business in the Piscean Age, mirrored the structures that I am sure you are all familiar with: 

• top-down leadership, 
• rigid systems, 

And the pursuit of material success at all costs. 

• Power was centralized 
• industries were built on competition rather than collaboration. 
• The corporate world, much like society, operated in strict binaries—winners and losers, success and failure, profit and loss. 
• People were expected to conform, to play by the rules, and to seek security over purpose.

And the result? An age of separation, - from ourselves and our true natures, from one and other and certainly from a power greater than ourselves - The divine was seen as distant, 

Sound familiar - 

• wisdom was outsourced to institutions rather than cultivated within. 
• The workplace became another realm of disconnection—disconnection from self, from others, and from the impact of our actions. 
• Creativity was often sacrificed for efficiency, and intuition was overshadowed by logic.
• Business operated with a mindset of extraction—of resources, of labor, of value—without consideration for sustainability or the collective good. 
• Fear became the driving force: fear of change, fear of uncertainty, fear of stepping outside the prescribed path. 
• And what of debt where wealth is concentrated in the very few and people were conditioned to believe that financial security could only be achieved by borrowing against their future, trading their time, energy, and creativity for the illusion of stability. 

And when the pressures of this way of living became too much, so many took to escapism that took many forms, from consumerism to addictive distractions, numbing the discomfort of a system that no longer served their soul.

I know that I can relate to so much of the impact of the last vestiges of the Piscean Age in my own life - a rejection and disregard of authority figures and a strong desire albeit in my 40’s to rebel against what for me had become the straightjacket of corporate life and then on top of that the manner in which small businesses were trained to stay small as they too were smothered by the strictures of rules and regulations that have made it almost impossible to be sustainable. 

No what’s next particularly in these times of chaos and monumental change - enter stage left, the turning point. We have entered into a New Age, that many have termed ‘woo-woo’ - a hangover of the judgments of Paganism and the Psychic Arts once deemed heretic. 

Astrology is a science - the study of the movement of the planets and their impact and influence upon humankind. Prophesies as old as time from many of the world’s Spiritual teachings had foretold of the times we are living in now with the emergence of The Aquarian Age and with this shift, structures of the past are being dismantled and dissolved and we are being invited to engage in and embrace a new paradigm. 

So what is this Aquarian Age about and how does it impact on us, particularly in the areas of learning, entrepreneurship and business? 

Instead of hierarchical top down structures, The Aquarian Age is built on networks, shared leadership, and collaboration. Where the old world clung to rigid authority, the new world thrives on decentralized wisdom and co-creation. The shift  for business, is undeniable. 

We are seeing leaders and businesses becoming more conscious, individuals are reclaiming their sense of autonomy and agency, connecting with a deeper sense of there being something more that going through the motions; seeking a deeper connection to live with purpose and meaning; and leadership in organizations is being called to lead with heart, purpose, and integrity.

So what does business look like in the early years of this new era? 

• business is no longer just about profit—it is about impact. 
• Leadership is no longer about command and control—it is about empowerment.
• Success is no longer measured by accumulation—but by value and contribution. 
• Old models of scarcity and competition are making way for abundance and collaboration, 
• Businesses are recognising their role as stewards of change rather than mere profit-driven machines. 
• Conscious entrepreneurship is rising, with more people seeking to align their work with their values, heart and Soul, integrating purpose with prosperity. 
• The veil of illusion is lifting, revealing the interconnectedness of all things—our choices, our businesses, our communities, and our planet.

And the impact that this has had for me? Reinventing all that I Am from the inside-out, letting go of what I was and what by definition, my business was, embracing the shift to become a part of the solution to the movement of change that is sweeping across the planet. 

We are in the business of transformative learning and have been guided in all we are and all we do, to usher this consciousness into our own business and then to carry the message and guide others to do the same by sharing our experience and what we have learned as we adapt to these changes. 

We are a part of steering and building a movement where: 

• learning is not about conforming but about awakening, 
• business is not just transactional but transformational. 
• heart-centered leadership takes precedence over outdated power structures, 
• business is a sacred journey rather than a relentless pursuit. 
• responsible citizenship, conscious entrepreneurship, and empowered living are no longer ideals but necessities.

Armed with this knowing, I and we cannot sit back in the hope that the challenges that are a hangover from the Piscean Age are going to disappear. We are exercising our free will choice to be a part of the evolution of business, abundance and prosperity and should this resonate for you, we are inviting you to be part of the solution to being co-creators of a planet that is fit for the next 7 Generations. 

The future is not something we wait for—it is something we create. When we look in the rear view mirror at The Piscean Age we can see where we have come from - it has been a part of the evolution of the planet, of humankind, and I for one am only too happy to let that go. I, we are being asked in this new age to choose to be a part of a world where businesses uplift rather than exploit, where learning liberates rather than restricts, and where leadership is not about authority but about authenticity.
